Open University (Fall/Spring/Summer) Courses

Open University via Extended Education

Extended Education offers the opportunity to enroll in a course without formal admission to Sonoma State University. You will have the flexibility to take courses on a space-available basis and to earn college credit! If you are preparing for university admission to the MSN FNP program, taking a course through Open University could be an option for you. 

Visit Extended Education to:

  • Fill out the Open University registration form to register for a Fall, Spring, or Summer course
  • View the Schedule of Classes
  • Learn about important information including fees, add/drop dates, etc. 

For MSN FNP courses, you may obtain instructor approval for a course by emailing us at nursing@sonoma.edu.

Already admitted to the MSN FNP program and want to take a course in the Summer? Open University is also an option for you.
