SSU Scholarship application period is open now!

The Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 SSU Scholarship Program Application is open from November 1, 2025, to February 1, 2026. The Sonoma State University Financial Aid & Scholarships Office allows students to submit one single application for a chance to be matched with more than 200 scholarship opportunities. 

• Who is eligible? Any degree-seeking student, new or continuing, planning to attend the upcoming year. Formal admission acceptance is not required at the time of application. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Full-time enrollment.
• How do I apply? After reading through the application requirements on the SSU Scholarships website, complete and submit the scholarship application through the online portal. Log in using your MySSU username and password, and be sure to answer all the required questions.

External Scholarships for Nursing Students
External scholarships are provided by organizations, individuals, or businesses outside of Sonoma State University. These scholarships should be reported to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office so we can make sure they show as anticipated aid on your account and fit into the rest of your financial aid award. Failure to do so could result in us requiring you to repay some or all of your need-based financial aid.
